Writer ~ Phyllis Crane Wardlaw 

Phyllis Crane Wardlaw is a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, housewife and homemaker.  She is married to Bill Wardlaw, a United States Navy Retiree, therefore, she spent twenty years being a Navy wife, supporting her husband and taking care of their family needs.

Phyllis was born to Horace and Ann Crane, the second of six children and grew up in the Longview Community of Pontotoc County, Mississippi.  She attended Longview school though the eighth grade then finished her education at Pontotoc High School.  The year she graduated from the eighth grade was the last year for the Longview school, which was consolidated with the Pontotoc City School District.

Phyllis and Bill have four children, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  They now reside in Pontotoc, Mississippi after living in five other states and one foreign country while in the Navy.

Phyllis is a sports� enthusiast and an avid reader of all types of literature.  Home is where the heart is, and that is where Phyllis can be found still taking care of her family with love and devotion.
