Ralph, a native of Pontotoc, MS, and his wife Peggy, reside in Germantown, TN. They have six grown children and fourteen grandchildren. After college Ralph began his profession of Building Design (designing & drawing home plans). Forty-three years later he is now retired and pursues writing, photography, and traveling. Church activities also keep them busy.

Ralph is a "Guest Columnist" for the Pontotoc Progress, publishes an annual "Old Geezer" booklet, and writes an occasional article for national magazines such as Reminisce, Country, and Good Old Days. He continues to write memories of growing up in Pontotoc during the 1940s and 1950s.
