Nancy Henderson, a native of Choctaw County, Mississippi, graduated from Mississippi State University with a B. S., M. S., Ed. Spec. and finally an Ed.D. (She just couldn ’t find enough to do).  She taught school 17 years and retired after 8 years as a principal in Oktibbeha County.

She and husband, Jimmy H., have one son and two grandsons.After retiring, Nancy and Jimmy H. built a mini storage business in Eupora, MS. She turned her vegetable garden into a flower garden, bought a new computer and started writing.

Today, she writes family memoirs and has been published in The Oxford So & So. Nancy’s other interests include genealogy and visiting cemeteries.
